In this clip Dave Gahan talks about the new Depeche Mode album and it’s process.. Martin Gore is going to be closer to the producing process on this one, great news we hope. Again, music history is to be written and we just cant wait for this album to be finished.

Hi there and welcome to this post which is a special one. If you are a Depeche Mode fan and you occationally watch tv series you may have encountered that sometimes there is TV producers with good taste for music. We have found some of them and compiled a vid for you.

Notice the fantastic timeline in the shows regarding clothes, hair styles and so on.Then notice the timelessness in the music! Maby it’s just our feelings, please comment if you feel the same way or not :)

So here it is at last… the Depeche Mode cover of U2′s track So cruel. Our first impression is that Dave Gahan’s voice performance is better than ever, especially in a tune that’s so melodical. Do not read that sentence that DM doesn’t make melodical tunes, more like that this is a diffrent angel of what we have been used to for the last years since Songs of faith and devotion where Depeche Mode has tried hard not to step on the same stone twice and has surely succeeded. Even though this is a cover and a old U2 song there is something fresh about it and hopefully reveals what’s come on the next Depeche Mode album. Yes we are sure about it. Why? Because they have to!  Never let us down… please

We can’t pinpoint the tragic feeling about this backstage session with Martin Gore and Peter Gordeno performing the song Surrender, it’s just there for some reason. Mirror reflections do have some tragic feel about them, don’t they? Especially when someone is putting on makeup… and is a guy. Only Martin and Co. can get away with it

Notice that they catched both Martin and Peter in the reflection at 0:56 What does this mean? The answer is… we dont know, they just did!

This session is beautiful and gives us the chills all over…

This is cyperpunk! The video is partially from the Japanese mecha movie GUNHED and partially clips of the band members with techie outfits. Why invest in you own video when someone else already did the job? Cut and paste as it’s best!
