Water is also just a great thing to be around—who doesn’t like to be by the water?” he muses.

Mitchell is currently working on a seascape book, a project that has been nine years in the making. “I’m just chasing the last shot for it. It could take a while. These things take time, and it’s my focus right now,” he says. In addition to this, he is also developing a new website and seeking gallery representation, always pushing the boundaries of his craft and exploring new avenues for his work.
